i need info on my 2006 classic 300d (what does special applications mean?) is it ok to run below 50?

I aint K, but was confused as well. Catch a gear and run it till its right. Special apps must mean " I found the sweet spot"

On the old SAE 300 motor generators, I believe the "special applications" setting increased the OCV of the current a little for a hotter start. I don't know that to be a fact, but I have been told by the old hacks in the shop that those machines had adjustable Open Circuit Voltage. If I'm mistaken, someone will, I'm sure, correct me :-) S.W.
