Estoy buscando informacion acerca del funcionamiento de arrestallamas en Tanques de Almacenamiento de Petroleo.
Mi duda es acerca del funcionamiento de estos aparatos, su funcion basica es evitar que cualquier llama ingrese al interior del TK, pero que pasa cuando esos arrestallamas que estan mandando gas al exterior continuamente, por efecto de un rayo por ejemplo se prenden fuego.OK la llama no ingresa, pero como se extingue la llama exterior.
Agradecedere cualquier info al respecto.

I'm looking for some information about flame arresters and their operative philosophy.
I know their basic function is to avoid any flame goes inside the tank being protected in the event of fire, those equipment are emanating gas continuosly due to ligtning some time start firing.That's fine flame is not allowed to go inside the tank, but my question is about the external flame, there is some other devices to connect to flame arresters to stop that firing.
Any feed back will be appreciated.
