Here's another "gem" for anyone who's interested regarding advances in heat treatment of aluminum age-hardenable alloys such as 7050, 2214, 2001. Al-Cu-Mg-Ag, 6111, 6061, and 357... Enjoy the read!!! :) :) :)

Henry,
I'm a little disappointed. :)
Usually when you get to posting articles it keeps me blurry eyed till the wee hours of the morning, and until at least a change of seasons. And I had gotten in the habit of breaking down the address and mining the wealth of whatever else was available. The vein run out on this one.

Ok Henry now you've forced me into Cherry picking. Gotta admit, most of that stuff is way way beyond me. Um thinkin it would be several seasons just to figure out what they are saying. Though I really like the real time microstructure stuff. The LLNL stuff is great.
And any Ti or Al stuff you have in the archive would be cool to. I'm trying to build a decent library.
And I still have not had a chance to really attack the Bainite book.
You realy posted a little bit for everyone there.

And uh, have you read all this stuff?  :)

One word Jeff: Yes but, I haven't reread it enough to fully digest all of the data.

I'm glad that you'll now have enough to keep ya busy at least thru the upcoming winter, and as you already know,
I'll be adding more periodically in order to break up the monotony. ;) Enjoy the reading!!! :) :) :)

Respectfully,
Henry

I understand fully digesting. Really good articles can actually take years to fully digest.

Egad!

Henry... you   m u s t   come from another planet! :-):-):-)

Please consider that I am no more the youngest and I could easily die by heart attack when having a look upon things as the attached* one!! :-)

My very best regards to you and lots of thanks Henry!

* By today I knew the "Kellog theorem" only by my Corn Flakes package... :-)

LMAO!!!!
Thats exaclty what I was talkin about. In all my cherry pickin in those articles that one in particular was left on the tree.
Now Henry may have him a tree house and is makin cherry pie. But I'm afraid I'd be stuck with the pits.
