Alot of people I know buy Victor outfits, I went with a Smith outfit and really like it. I wouldn't trade it for a new Victor anytime. I am not a salesman or anything, this is just my opinion. Go to smithequipment.com and check out their website. The biggest selling points for me: MADE IN USA, and it has a lifetime warranty. You don't need tools to change tips or attachments from the torch handle. Mine is the SC series outfit. I am sure the names and designations have changed some since I bought mine. I got it off of Ebay brand new. I personally wouldn't buy a used torch from somebody unless I knew and trusted them and their ability completely. You never know if the nut on the tip got sprayed with wd 40 because it was stuck or if oil or grease came into contact with the torch, either by accident or intentionally (usually because something was sticky or hard to turn). My personal experience from training on the fire department and Haz-Mat team, coupled with one attempt to incinerate my leg (another story for another time) has shown me this: PETROLEUM PRODUCTS AND OXYGEN DON'T MIX.
As far as reels, I have seen reference to them here on this forum and also on ebay.
