This is the most honorable procedure that is being used in all the third thru tenth worlds -

I believe it was used to make the sponge metal welds on my jack ( $ 9.95 Pep Boys in 1984 )

You can tell it was this one by the most uniform distribution and size of the bubbles -

this is like concrete with holes -
