I have bought a inverter.I weld 304 steel on arc inverter welder .I use electrod and some time use it for tig process.electrod do not stick on material but the same electrod work well with older  transformer welding mc(electrod is ac as well as dc operated).weaving the electrod give better result. why it is so?is it mean inverter is not suitable for my sheet metal welding

jain ashish,

independently of what kind of brand the inverter, you have bought, has.

As long the electrode is DC-applicable (I guess it may be a Rutile Type due to it's AC-applicable as well) it should work properly on DC+.

At least as far as I understand your post correctly, I'm sure you have chosen the correct mode (SMAW).

Best regards,
Stephan
