Hi all,
I'm a certified welder that has been torturing my 1/2 ton p/u for quite some time now and would appreciate any and all opinions about a medium duty welding truck.
I do wrought iron and structural steel. I have a trailblazer 302, Ln-25 pro, torches, sp135, 100ft. hannay reels and tons of power tools. I plan on getting a compressor, carbon arc and plasma.
I'm not sure if I need a 3/4 or 1 ton and was considering a utility box bed but now starting to think about a flatbed with a rack because of more bed area, but open to all suggestions.
                                                 Thanks in advance,
                                                          DWC

Yep, 1 ton is the way to start. And when you build your rig the way you want it and give it a great paint job, be sure to post pics here.
