Hello Guys,

I have a job coming up and I am very interested to get some feed back on Pulsed Mig process and consumable selection for positional work on S/s 304L, Specifically vertical up and horizontal...

I am always looking to learn from other peoples experiences and mistakes(Which I have made plenty of myself!!)

Any advice you could share would be great

Thanks in Advance

Tell us about the material thickness of the stainless your welding

Tell us about the welding power supply and feeder unit you are using

Tell us about the shield gas you are selecting

Robotic?

Manual?

High production manufacturing?

Shop fabrication?

Need the info

Hello lawrence,

thanks for your prompt reply..

Sheet thickness 8-6mm thick,

have not settled on power supply, feeder unit or shielding gas yet.

Manual welding with some shop fabrication but majority done on site.

I really have no specifics apart from material selection at this stage, keen to get some feedback on other peoples experiences with this material type and process

Appreciate your feedback lawrence.

Thanks
