In my experience it is really difficult to represent all of the different joint configurations for TKYs on a written WPS.  The best solution I have found is to prepare a written instruction or procedure that details all of the necessary steps for fitup, fitup inspection, welding, and final inspection - reference is then made on the WPS to this document.

I'm sure others out there may have a different opinion.
