What is the dew point for shielding gasses for FCAW and GMAW? The older versions stated that it had to be a welding grade with a dew point of -40F or lower(D1.1:98 para 5.3.1.3)...I think it was revised, but I don't have my D1.1 with me.

C-5.3.1.3 Dew Point/Manufacturer's Certification
....Therefore, it is mandatory to have -40*F or lower dew point in shielding gas.
Shielding gas purchased as certified to AWS A5.32 meets this requirement.
