Look at the 1st picture  and you can see where this guy broke through the guardrail, right  side where the people are standing on the road (pointing). The  pick-up was traveling from right to left when it crashed through the  guardrail, flipped end-over-end, across the culvert  outlet, and landed right side up on the left side of the culvert, facing the opposite direction from which he was traveling.

Now look at the  2ND  picture  below...
If this guy didn't believe  in God before, do you suppose he believes now?

For what it's worth, these pictures have been floating around for a year or so.  There was no info with them the first time I saw them.

those pictures look like an area on mexico highway 1 between Rosirito and Ensanada.
Parent - - By ctacker (****) Date 10-02-2008 15:42
Last time I was in Mexico, I don't remember the roads having guardrails, but its not something I was looking for either. Its hard to tell, but the people look more caucasion too

The road to Ensanada has them. Just left there this last January. I am relatively certain that is west coast somewhere given the look of the vegitation. That background is what it looks like, but some parts of cali may be close.

Those look like Texas plates. Just kidding.  I wish my vision was that good.

How about the guts that those EMS guys have?  you wouldnt catch me out there looking in the truck!

in ancient times (when I was a kid) we would go out to canyons like that, but all the roads were dirt then, with no rails. that was in AZ and it kinda looks like it.

I was in mexico in april, but I was around Cancun area, doesnt even look like the area. never been to the west coast of mexico, yet!

I've been down to Mexico a few times over the last year.  Currently, it is not unusual that there are "accidents" of cars going over the cliffs with an individual in them.  Apparantly this is the current, convenient way of eliminating drug competition.
ps.:  how about those police officers from Mexico seeking asylum in the U.S. because they are "marked" by the druggies.

I lived in Vegas for 11 years & it looks like AZ to me too. That was my first thought, the rock all dark like that.

I could have read the article wrong. If you do a search for AMAZING TRUCK CRASH PHOTOS SPARK WEB DEBATE  you will see where I got the info saying that it was in Utah.

That rock certainly looks western to say the least. I missed the Utah part of it. You see a lot of rock like that down in southern Nevada & Arizona as well.

I new I would figure out where it was. CNN says that it happend on December 30 2006 in Utah on State Route 59 a canyon road outside of a town called Hurricane. It said that the driver was doing 83 miles an hour when he over corected and went through the barricade. No one was seriosly injured but the driver was thrown and landed only inches from the edge of the cliff. The right of way was only 25ft wide

Holy cow, if you look at the bottom of the pit, you can see the wreckeage of several vehicles and looks like a tanker truck!
I bet the inside of that truck has a serious odor problem now.
