Hi, I'm tasked with projection welding some powdered metal spacers to a cold rolled stamping. I can't seem to get any fusion. The powder is F-0005-25. It's basically 97% iron with 3% Carbon. Anyone have any tips?
Do the spacers have projections on them? If so how many, what size (dimensions). As for projection welding a powdered metal part to a cold rolled stamping I dont see why you couldnt. But if you give me more dimensional information about both parts I am be able to help.
