I have never seen that truck, but I believe I have seen that machine. Looks like some spray painted POS this guy had on ebay a few weeks ago. Looks like one of those rebuilt wonders to me.........
That said, the truck looks pretty cool.
I have a '51 ford F-3 I have been thinking about doing this to. All the modern conveniances with an old look. I want to put mine on a 4x4 chassis though. Chris

Thats pretty neat but it needs a 12 valve cummins and a custom bed. Im with Steve on the machine. It looks like one that keeps on popping up on ebay saying that it has been completly gone through.
I am not a huge truck buff but I don't think a 700R4 trsanny will fit on the 454 chevy will it? They always used the turbo 400 tranny or the newer L408
The 700r4 was made for the 350 and 454 blocks. Same bell housing.

that welder isnt the one that was on ebay. i made that guy an offer about 1000 higher than i normally would on that welder. he says hes gonna relist it next spring. not gonna be any better then either.
