Sir,

I am currently preparing students for a VICA Skill USA competition and I have been a judge of several of these competitions so, I know from where I speak. As an educator and a professional, I see your approach to "let them be blown away" and "let them fail miserably" appalling! Do you think this attitude is conducive to the learning enviorment of the student/contestant? The re-enforcement of self esteem and self respect should be of paramount concern when preparing a student for this type of competion or for life experiences. Also, the quality and skill level of a student is a direct reflection of their instructor.
