passed my D1.1 3G!!

Well, finally got it! Had them write up my procedures and they x-rayed my plate and found out friday it was good! So, this week hopefully I can burn out an overhead plate or maybe after turkey day and get that in there to test. Wow, feels good to say..."I'm certified". Thanks for all the help on here!

Congratulations, Cumminsguy71. When I took my first weld test, I hated the wait to see if I busted out or passed. When I recieved the results, I was proud to call myself a welder as my dad and his dad was. Congrats again.

glad to hear someone else say that! I called my wife when I found out and said to her, Hi, my name is shawn and I'm a certified welder....yahoo!! All that rod pounding down in the shop over the last couple months paid off. Get the 4G done this week or next and then I'll be getting serious with a girl named TIG.
