.062 alm wire on a Millermatic 350p

Has anyone tried to run ER5356 Alm 1/16 wire on a Millermatic 350P machine? Just wondering if you can. There is no info on the miller website about running this big wire in this machine.

For sure you can change the rollers and run traditional spray transfer with a push-pull or even a regular whip. Just be careful to keep the whip straight and if you have a short whip that is even better.

I have a call in to a friend @ Miller who can give answers about the GMAWP and large bore wire..

Word is that the 350P does not have the horsepower to Pulse 1/16 Aluminum. It will for sure run it with traditional spray transfer but the starts may be a bit rough.

The XMT will run 1/16 Alum GMAWP.

The 350p works well with .045 alum. 10' gun, non-metallic liner,oversized id tips, push process and factory pluse settings.
