Alright, I have a QC over here that is curious about the CWI being that i just got mine his eyes are wide open now that he knows it is possible and not just a fantasy. But, he doesn't have a high school diploma. I know that you need a college degree to get CWI with no experience. High school diploma with 5 yrs experience. but, i also thought that i read somewhere or maybe heard from someone that you can get a CWI without either if you had 8 or 10 yrs experience in the field. could someone shine a little light on this for me.

I believe its 12 years with no HS diploma. you need verifiable work history and letters from employers to state your work history!

Crazycajun,
It is nine years without HS diploma or state or government equivalent, IE GED.  It is twelve years if one has not completed the eighth grade.

Let him download and read the QC1. It is all in there. If he can't interpret that, the test will just be a waste of $$$$. I can't recall how many over the years expect me to "spoon feed" them their CWI.

Excellent Answer!

Except that the answer is in B5.1.

Good Answer; except that the education / experience requirement is in the B5.1

Crazycajun,
I could very well be mistaken, but I beleive it is HS diploma or equivalent. Meaning a GED would work in place of a HS diploma.

How about a question on the application paperwork.  One section needs to be signed by your a supervisor.  And another you must prove the minimum work experience, depending on what is required for your situation.  Is it required to get a signature from ALL previous jobs (equalling the minimum years of experience)?  I'm finally filling out my application and don't want to f**k it up.

Thanks Brothers

Bryon,
Again, I could be mistaken, but I beleive that you only need a signature from your current employer. I do not remember if this needs to be notorized, but I think it does. Something needs notorized.

EDIT: The testemonial needs to be notorized.

your signature on the application needs notorized (if I remember right) but as stated before, read QC1 and if that proves too hard, the CWI cert will be impossible!

You are correct. The testemonial section where you sign needs to be notorized. And yes, if the application is to tough, the test will sink you. LOL
