Not sure what your question is.  We qualified our WPS to AWS D1.3 for welding 12 gauge unistrut to A36 as both fillet and flare bevel groove welds.  The bend radius on the unistrut is so tight that it is more of a fillet weld than flare bevel.  We use E7018 and remove the galvanizing in the weld area prior to welding.
