FWIW I have found a good website with a very interesting report of a bridge inspection in California.  If anyone has some other sites on bridge inspection please post them, I am very interested in this side of Inspection.

That was interesting. Though I am curious how the individual determined the root area crack 'Sample M15 from Weld 2 in sample 5D' was from the removal process.
Non relevant indication and crack are words that don't usually play well with each other.

well i never done bridge inspection before but it seems to me that crack is a nasty word as well. and some of those welds kinda make me scared to travel on that bridge even though some parts are 2" or better just the idea of knowing that it has the possabilty of cracking is a thought i dont wanna bare.
