Kansas City is the "beef" bbq capital of the world, Memphis Tennessee is of course the "pork" bbq capital of the world.
My back yard is the "combined" bbq capital of the universe.

A friend of mine is a KC judge and he turned me on to the bbq-brethren.com site a while back.  This is a great forum for those of you into BBQ or wanting to be.  It's the best resource I've found on the subject of BBQ.  Also if you are in or around Sparks on Labor Day I highly reccommend the rib cook-off there that the Nugget Casino puts on.  The whole downtown area is BBQ booths and beer.  Big name country artists too for free.  It's a good time.

Thanks, I will check that site out. I found another good rib place hear in the Dallas area. Logans Roadhouse, awsome fall off the bone ribs!!!

It is actually in Lewisville about 20 minutes north of Dallas on I35E on the west side of the highway.
