Need help to identify

I just purchased and antique Hammett 200 amp AC arc welder. Does anyone know anything about this particular welding machine. I cannot find any information online about it. I have photos that I can email. I would appreciate any replies.

That thing is cool man!!!! did u burn any rod with it yet? By the looks of it i would sa its for the 50s

I have not had a chance to use it yet. I thought it was cool too. I was trying to see if anyone had anymore information about the company that made it or where I could find out more about it. Thanks for the reply.

I would say its way older than the 50's. Thats a wood cabinet isn't it ? I would guess at least the early 1900's if not even older . Lincoln used to house their machines in wooden cabinets . Due to moisture and poor protection , and break throughs in metal manipulation , they moved on to metal casing. Nice piece , by the way .
