My girlfriend made me watch American Idol last night, as she works for Fox. A welder auditioned and made it to the next round. I don't know how this show works, as I've never watched it before. If this guy happens to make it to when the audience votes, I think we should all cast our votes for him, in solidarity. As came from a previous post, what better way to promote the welding industry than on one of TV's highest rated shows. I personally can't stand the show, but, I will be tuning in to vote for "our" guy.

Got my vote. You can vote more than once on the same performance. I cant sit on the phone for the 4 hours a night they accept votes, but my wife has proved she has no problem with it!! I forgot the guys name, though. Maybe my wife has it on DVR.
I started watching the show regularly last year. I love the train wrecks. The welder guy has a good voice and hopefully he will do well. He sings better than the "bikini" girl but I don't blame them for putting her through. I think there was also a roughneck on Tuesday's show that made it to Hollywood also.
Yeah, my wife liked the roughneck as much as I liked bikini girl!
Maybe if he had a bikini that might help him too. LOL
For real though, he did sing pretty damn good for an Okie.
I never watched the show, but from what I have seen on some of the ad clips, I thik they need the GONG from the old "Gong Show".
my wife and kids make me watch that dang show it can be ok at times and yes the welder sang very good i thought and i have never voted but he's got my vote i see him making it far sure wish i could of seen the bikini girl lol i'm with dave they need to add a gong show effect sure would save alot of time

Sure they do lol they put a limit on the kids this year cause last year the 12th place goat brought more than the grand champion steer it's ridiculous i had to go around asking people to put moneu on her chickens it aint even an auction anymore it's about as bad as a presidential election she ended up with 1300.00 for them birds not a bad run for her first year

Yep. I can't really ask for him to drive the extra miles for a couple of chickens, but I can sure take a little time to go there and pick them up to be able to contribute to the youngsters project and meet some more members of this site and our profession. LOL

they are the white feathered market chickens and they dont cockle yet but i'm sure they will in time but not before friday lol

He doesnt live in brady John I'll just say he's east of dallas and for 6.00 a bird you can come and get them you want them delivered I'll bring them to you for 2.00 a loaded mile. dead, plucked,gutted,frozen and wrapped they are going to their maker friday at noon should be ready sometime friday night or saturday morning if ya want tehm cheaper i'll keep them alive for you and you can do the rest these chickens weigh around 8-10lbs each yes i fed the hell out of them with a high protien feed let me know how many birds you want i can fed ex them if ya like lmao

Well then i got an idea. I'll load up all 36 birds take them to johns house and we can have a chicken shoot in his back yard i'm sure it'll be a fun time had by all well except for john he'll be busy answering the door and cleaning birds

Hey shad i have been to johns house before and there is about 10 foot of deck from the back door to the end and maybe 8 foot from the deck to the fence and you can see everyones backyard from his oh and you can spit on the next house from the door how do people live like this!
