Thanks Lawrence, I had both of those printed off sitting here on my desk to read when I got back from lunch. I know the process will be really good, I am just looking for what it can do, IPM, power consumption, laser size for varied plate thicknesses and so on. those articals are a really good read and I would recommend them for anyone wondering what they are using Lasers for theses days.

I ran itno an associate of wolfe robotics a month or so back. There's interest in hybrid laser welding for many thick plate industries. One of the advantages of the process is the ability to complete 2-3" joints with an including angle from 3-10 degrees and a very small root opening. It is a material and time saver
