just finished refurbishing a 66 redface. completly rebuilt motor, new waterpump, new radiator, new 1 wire alternator, new hood and doors, dupont automotive paints used, upgraded to electronic idle, dry airfilter kit from weldmart, mag got caps and rotor and points and condenser, wired for remote. It would take to long to list all the uprgrades and work done on the machine. nothing was spared

chopped 4 inches out of the top of the machine.

had my LWS load bank today to break the engine in a bit and seat the rings, load banked perfect.

serious inquires only please

located in southwest iowa

Parent - - By gotpipe597 (**) Date 02-08-2009 03:19
Hey how hard is it to chop a machine?
Parent - - By Marsh Welding (**) Date 02-08-2009 13:50
its not that hard to chop a machine. just takes time. the air filter fits a little tight going on but works graet
Parent - By Marsh Welding (**) Date 01-17-2010 23:00
this machine is also still for sale
Parent - - By Sharp Tungsten (**) Date 02-08-2009 04:01
How do like the Weldmart air filters? Those things look slick and I have a shorthood I am restoring that needs a filter and don't like the looks of the K&N and don't like the price of used oil baths either. Thanks and nice looking machine.
Parent - - By rick harnish (***) Date 02-08-2009 06:43

Hey Eric, nice machine. Where can I get a chrome stack like that? That's all I need to finish restore on my 68. Tried through a reputable shop on this site but was not pleased at all, ended up completely rebuilding myself. Thanks for your help.
Parent - - By Marsh Welding (**) Date 03-02-2009 02:34
that is just a slip over chrome tip. any auto parts shop should have them.
Parent - - By Marsh Welding (**) Date 03-29-2009 02:05

Parent - - By strother (***) Date 05-25-2009 22:19
hang on to this one until you can get what it is worth
Parent - - By Marsh Welding (**) Date 05-27-2009 01:49
im not giving it away. but for me building a machine isnt about the money either. i hate to see a machine that is so nice just sitting. i build them to run. i put alot of work and money in machines so they are 100% ready to go to work. anything can look good but if it doesnt function who cares
Parent - - By tighand430 (***) Date 05-29-2009 21:29

Hey Eric. What trades are you looking for? ATVS? 200's? Whats on your mine. I have a 70 200. thats been rebuilt. but still can put a slicker paint job on it. Also I have a 2007 450 Grizzly that I have been trying to get rid of. Runs good, doesnt smoke, but still could use a little TLC.

On the 200 i have done:
New shunts and exciter brushes.
Pistions & rings
Hone cyclinders (STD bore)
Cranked turned 30,000th on main journels and 20 on rod. Got all the new bearings.
New coil condencer, and insalter kit for mag.
Head shaved with new head bolts.
New board.
And a black paint job.

-Call me if you are intesed in these trades please. I would like your machine. But all I can do is a Trade till now.
318-264-9425 Tyler. Thanks for your time.
Parent - - By Marsh Welding (**) Date 10-30-2009 11:32
right now im really not looking for a trade. ive got it priced at my bottom dollar so i really dont have room for trades. i bought a brand new polaris ranger this spring so im not really looking for atvs, and ive got enough 200s to build to last me 10 years at the rate its been going. We've had a really wet fall so dirt work has been slow so the money would be better
Parent - - By roundydownie (**) Date 01-03-2010 02:13
is this machine still for sale? if so what is your bottom dollar
Parent - - By Marsh Welding (**) Date 01-04-2010 04:09

How do the electric fans work? Any good. I have heard from some that they suck, and others say they work just fine.
Parent - - By Marsh Welding (**) Date 01-27-2010 03:38
the fan i put on kept it cool when i welded with it this summer.  i welded stick after stick of 5/32 7018 with no problem and it was over 90 that day
Parent - By pipeliner04 (**) Date 02-01-2010 04:02
thats what i took outta mine
Parent - By Marsh Welding (**) Date 03-04-2010 00:47
