Is anyone familiar with a boat sample saw?  I'm not sure if this is technically the correct name, but this is what we refer to it as.  It is a saw that can be attached to a welded component and it takes out a section of the weld in a v-shape.  This sectioned piece can then be examined for defects....often used to verify defects found via UT testing are actually present.  The saw we have is worn out and I'm looking for a supplier or information on how to obtain a new one.  Any help would be appreciated.

sloppyjoe86, I hope you get some answers. We do it the old fashion way, didn't even know there was a saw made for the use.
