I have a 250 A 60% duty cycle MIG welder.Presently  using 0.8 mm M.S. Now I want to use 1.2 mm Al wire for a new job.
Will my machine work on 1.2 mm Al wire or I have to buy a new one for this capacity(I can not try it at my end because of cost of Al wire spool, teflon coated roller and liner )

Yes, your machine will take the amperage you will put it through with 1.2mm wire very nicely.  You will need a push/pull gun or a spool gun for it to work though.

As Kix mentions, a push/pull or a spool gun works the best. You have mentioned a teflon liner. If You use a regular push type mig gun with a teflon liner it must be a short gun/cable/liner assembly kept as straight as possible. Some use a straight gun instead of a gooseneck gun.
