Dose AWS D1.1 -3.9 Fillet Weld Requirement- Include Fillet T-Joint Prequalification?

I don't believe that fillets are prequalified.

As long as you meet the requirements of Table 3.7 you are good.

Figure 3.2 shows a prequalified fillet weld T-joint on tubular steel.

Figure 3.11 shows Skewed T- joints that are prequalified.

3.9.1 doesn't exclude the T-joint.

My Joint Is Non Tubular Right Angle T-Joint
And I said Your Comment To My Client But He Didn't Accept
Do You Know How I Can Give Acceptance From AWS?

Dear
I think you shall see 3.9.1
Only you shall Know table 5.8 for minimum fillet welds, figure 2.1 and 2.4 for design and tabla 3.7  for weld type FILLET.

pmipmbok,
2.2.5.2 (2006)states that fillet welds between parts...at an angle between 80-100 degrees, shop drawings shall show fillet weld leg size.

Figure 3.11 details prequalified skewed T-joints from 60 to 135 degrees. The fillet weld between 80-100 degrees would apply. A T-Joint is a 90 degree connection

3.9.1 doesn't exclude the T-joint it only gives limitations on the lap joint Fig. 2.1 and min. lap in Fig. 2.4

3.9.3 Skewed T-Joints falls under 3.9 Fillet Weld Requirements
Hope that makes sense. IMO the T-joint fillet weld is within the prequalified WPS requirements.
