I very recently had 2 Smith torches that had problems. These torches were far from new (20yrs?) an had seen a good amount of use. I contacted Smith to see about repairing them an or getting parts. To my pleasure I was informed that they would fix them up for free, just send them. (You need to get a return# first) Not just the problem! But rebuild the whole torch! One torch head was obsolete I was told. They told me that I would just be given a new head!
Their turn around time was 6 hours!!! They recived the package at 10:30am an it was shipped out just after 4pm that day....... I recived 2 brand new torch heads an 2 new bodies!!!!!! Now that is SERVICE.... I think I will be buying Smith stuff from now on......
