interesting work, what's that truss for?

How were the rolled sections for the flower formed? seems like to get the compound curves to have good fit up you would need to use hydro forming or cnc hydraulics?

Metarinka,
Yes the pieces are formed with hydraulics. It is outsourced. It is not as complicated to form the parts as it would seem. It is all in how it is broken down. Then how it is put back together. The flowers are pretty much the same. As far as the base and column, easy money. Even with the rolled stems for the flowers. I am not sure if you can see in the pics, but the flowers are mounted on a rolled column to give it that "swaying in the wind" look.

As far as fit up for welding, we really do not have a hard time getting things to meet code. Again, this is attributed to the team effort from D&E, engineering, to fab to install.

which truss (pic#)? I am having trouble posting the rest of the pics, so I am not sure whats there and whats not. LOL

EDIT: OK Sorry, it is a pic of installation (more coming). They took a shot of it after it was erected and befor fabric was installed. PLUS they got a nice shot of the mountains in the background.

Peters077,
Thanks, I added the rest of the pics that were giving me a hard time yesterday.
