I am more of a machinist than a welder. I am going to sell a welding positioner for a friend and need to decide on a fair market value. It has a 12" chuck and an air operated foot valve to spin the positioner. It tilts side to side. Stands over 48" high. Can't find any type of manufacturer or serial # on it. Is a very heavy nicely made piece of equipment. Looks almost new. As far as history - the unit is over 20 years old and has very little use. It was inherited by my friend.  Anybody have any idea what this piece of equipment is worth?

With no brand on it, I'd say beauty is in the eye of the beholder.  Basically you can try to get whatever you want out of it.  Put it on EBAY and set the reserve really high and see how high the bids go up to.  Then relist it with a new reserve around what your highest bid was.  That little sucker could make someone a lot of money so who knows what one would pay for it.
