DearAll
Queries:-
1) Base Material - EH36 x 25.4mm thk x single V-Groove using SMAW Consumable E7016, tested to -40 degree celcuis. It passed all the required tests.
Query - Can I use this EH36 PQR to weld EH36Z Base Material where all other conditions remain same without writing neww WPS ?
2) Welding different grade base materials,ie AH32 x EH36. Both have charpy value of -20 x -40 deg. celcius repsectively. How to choose the right consumable/s regardless weld process?. Am I right to select consumable with -40 deg. celcius?

Thanks for all invaluable responses.
