I am currently working a Request for Quote and am being asked to produce weld metal which will meet the following:

Drop Weights : 2 no breaks @ -140°F
Charpy V-Notch : -80°F., 50 ft. lbs. with 35 mils L.E.
All weld metal tensile : 70 KSI min (Matches Base Material, SA350 LF3)
Application is stress relieved @1150 +/- 25 for approximately 4-6 hours.
Wire must meet AWS / ASME Section II Part C, ASME Section III, Division I, Subsection NB, and Section III Division III, Subsection WB.

Does anyone know of a wire manufacturer who could supply such a wire?? Preferably an SAW Wire/Flux due to the volume needed. Possibly a Metal Cored SAW wire? I would also need a Metal Cored or Flux Cored wire for small repairs.

Try Lincoln Electric. They make a sub arc wire that contains about 3% nickel. (similar to 8018-C2) They also have Nuclear certification.
