ive been looking thru the manuals for shorthoods and they mention two diffrent excitor sizes, stendard and oversized. can anyone tell me the diffrence and how to tell them apart and how to tell which one i have. got two 56 model shorthoods and want to be able to tell the what i got so i can measure the rpm's accordingly.

standerd has no aux output 110v power it will be shorter but it has a spacer to keep it the same lenght so it will tightin down on the arm nut it also will have coils about 1/2 the size of oversized coils im trying to upgrade my shorty now the dfw exciter has 110v aux for your power tools
