I don't have this spec, but it shows up in one of our job specs and applies to galvanized materials.
Does anyone have a copy that can tell me basically what it says so I can see if it applies to us as a structural fabricator? Either way, I'll fork over the $32 for 3 pages of text.
It is basically talking about potential issues that may arise due to prior heat treat, cold working, and hydrogen embrittlement in regard to pickling. It has two testing scenarios (similar to stud bend test) that compare two similar items, one prior to galv and one after.
