A supplier is using magnetically impelled arc welding process. After reviewing some documents I have come across something that doesn't make any sense to me.
It's being claimed that an NIB with a rating of 45 is sufficient. My understanding and single witness of the process is that it uses electromagnetism of high frequency to impell the arc with minimal upset. Does anyone have any information on MIAW performed utilizing NIB magnets?
