Hi im a beginner...
sory for my broken english...i hope u understand

i have a question friend.. can we use 6" sch 80(thk 10.97) & 6" sch 120(thk 14.27) for welder qualification with TYK connection CJP groove weld (6GR).

The simple answer is no. The difference in wall thickness must be at least 4.8 mm between the thinner wall (13 mm) and the thicker wall.

You can use 6 inch schedule 120 and schedule XX strong as one combination or you can use 8 inch schedule 120 and schedule XX strong for another combination. Clearly you can't use 6 inch and 8 inch together.

can we refer Part C Performance Qualification - 4.26 CJP Groove Welds for Tubular Connections & Figure 4.27 to suport your statement.

That's what I was looking at, but I did the conversion from Customary Units to SI, so my numbers may not be exactly those shown in the figure.
