I started another topic about a month ago or so about a weler capable of welding 1/2" aluminum. Let me start by saying that the machine I buy will be in my garage that is set up as a small shop. I have a chance to buy a pretty nice 1991 Lincoln Squareqwave 355 for abut $2700.00 or I can buy Lincolns' new Precision Tig 275 for about the same money. I dont know if anyone is familiar with the new Precision Tig 275. This is my first weler, and I am a firm believer Of buying this right the first time :). I also am thinking of getting into some light fabrication, and want a machine capable of welding POSSIBLY 1/2" aluminum. The 355 does NOT come with a watr cooler, the Precision Tig 275 comes with the water cooler, and all running gear. Thanks guys for all you knowlege, epertise, and feedback!!!

John
