We've qualified a PQR with a 1" Type II plate. We did CVN testing at -40 Degrees F.  The WPS supported by this PQR has a groove thickness range of 1/8' thru Unlimited when no CVN requirements are invoked.  When CVN is invoked the qualified thickness range is 5/8" thru Unlimited.  The test was done in the 1G position. Does the 5/8" minimum thickness  still apply to 1F fillet welds when CVN is a requirement?
