Attached you will find a stainless steel weld done with the Lincoln Powerwave 455/M10 Feeder.
The welding process is done with the STT process.  What you see is the back of the root pass.
This weld was complete without the use of purging.  The STT is an excellent machine for welding
stainless steel without the use of backing gas.  The bends were excellent.
