has ne body ever ran 7016 low hyd?? i took a test the other day bell hole and branch and they made me run my beads n them with 7016 up hill. crazy stuff man.

yes i have....its also called colbe rod.   it works tons better if you keep it in a oven.   my test was for dcp.   it just takes practice then you'll be rolling them in slick.

E7016 is virtually the same as E7018 except it has no iron powder added to the coating.  E7018 provides a bit higher deposition rate.  Some use it for open root pass(es).  Electrode care is the same as for E7018.

E7016 KOBE LB52U Rod are the best vertical up open root rod Ive ever used.

they use it alot for pipeline hot taps for the first pass on a saddle tap. Runs alittle colder then 7018 does so you dont burn through !!!!!!!
