Thanks guys, I did not think there was. I attempted to make a repair on what was called POR just a hair over 1/4" on the very far side of the left bevel. I looked at the film and the bead looked all good, I ground out about 4" of weld to the bead and never found anything where the film showed. Well it shot bad again so it was a cut out, I had one other repair prior to this so it counted as my 3rd strike. The reason I bring this up is because I was told after that if it would have been a gas pocket there would have been no repair attempt, it would be automaticly a cut out. If that would have been the case I wounder if that would only be 2 strikes and I would still have a job. In either case I have learned a lesson, when you don't find the problem go all the way in and run a new bead at the repair also. For what it is worth this was on 24" .500 X-70, 6010 bead 70+ all the way out API 1104.
