Going good. It can be a little boring at times. Look at some welds, do some paperwork, wait awhile, and start it all over again. I think I would like to actually work for the shop instead of 3rd party. These pricks will try to get over and do what they want with regards with who has their certs in place. But then I just don't sign. So I guess its not bad.
I love the heat hear. Its so miserably hot and humid during the day (although I have a very nice a/c in my office, LOL) but at night when it cools off, forget about. The heat of the day makes the night more enjoyable, minus the Goddamn mosquitos and no see 'ems. The fishing's not bad, until dolphins come through and run everything off.
But, with all that said, from what I hear in the fall there's a mad dash to gig flounders. They call them doormats because they get so big. I'm waiting for that.
All in I'll it pays more than my unemployment did and its a good learning experience. And the bikini-clad girls at the beach are an added bonus. :-)
