Here's mine.
Not a slick pipe welder rig, but it works for me.
Parent - - By Black Wolf (**) Date 08-27-2009 03:31
Nothing Wrong with that rig Jeff.... It was payed for with hard work & sweat, so it belongs here, same as any other.

Being both a mechanic and a welder, I can appreciate how your truck is rigged to carry all of your tools.

I espescially like your 4 legged security system.

Have a Good Night.

Does that machine weld better with the generator section painted blue? :-)
Parent - By burleigh26 (**) Date 08-29-2009 03:34
i guess not, it quit welding in the middle of a job a 2 weeks ago. man was i pissed, lol.   i run that ford now. painted the machine to match the truck and one day the bed will be white.
Parent - - By texwelder (***) Date 08-29-2009 23:28
How long have you had that bed on the goat, and where did you get the idea for the diamond on the bottom edge ?
Parent - - By 52lincoln (***) Date 08-30-2009 00:15
did u get rid of ur wagon?
Parent - By burleigh26 (**) Date 08-30-2009 00:23
my dad has the truck and the bed was used for the start of another bed.
Parent - By texwelder (***) Date 08-30-2009 00:44
No I haven't if you know anybody interested let me know will part it out or sell the bed and the truck together, no welder or tools go with it
Parent - By burleigh26 (**) Date 08-30-2009 00:23
i only had that bed on there for about 6 months.  i got ideas from different style beds.  i saw your bed and like that idea, it was an angle iron.   i ended up cutting that bed up a few weeks ago to use the top for a new bed.
Parent - By jrod (**) Date 08-31-2009 00:47
i've got a bed for sale that will slide right on the king ranch.
Parent - - By warmka weld (*) Date 08-31-2009 00:13
You said your'e in  sand and gravel, do you build stuff or maintain stuff?
Parent - By J Hall (***) Date 08-31-2009 01:58
Both. We build a lot of our own stuff and then there is the routine maintenence of what is running.
Parent - - By texwelder (***) Date 08-30-2009 01:32
Heres some pics of mine.
Parent - - By burleigh26 (**) Date 08-30-2009 02:02
hey texwelder, hope you weren't mad that i used your idea on that bed.  i love the way it looks and i never seen the diamond effect before.  i would like to do that on the new bed im building, but it has 6'' fenders. i dont think it would look to good on a narrow bed.
Parent - By texwelder (***) Date 09-05-2009 01:13
Not mad at all, I like to come up with new ideas, I had a fab shop bend those cut down on a lot of welding.
Parent - By 52lincoln (***) Date 08-30-2009 22:07
how much for the bed?does that truck have dual tanks
Parent - - By KFab (**) Date 09-09-2009 09:27 Edited 09-09-2009 09:30

I finally figured out how to post.. so here it is. Fenders do stick out but i liked the look... ill fix it on the next one. This is a converted f250 swd. dually adaptors and spacers ..  lots of grief doing it this way so dont do it... its got 4 foot boxes and carriess 2 acty bottle and 2 lockable oxy bottles .. going to sport a vantage.. i just have to add some lighting and supports under the hooser pole for jackstands  and mudboard. even has an access panel to get in the rear for electrical wiring.  so to all my buds no more riglet jokes...
Parent - - By Cactusthewelder (*****) Date 09-09-2009 15:44
JohnJohn Congrats ! Now you have a real Converted Riglet ! Ready to put it to work ?
Parent - - By KFab (**) Date 09-09-2009 16:29
