Anyone know of some software for basic computer drawing of structural details?  Stuff you could copy to Word or Excel?

Hello Duke, don't quite know if this might serve your purpose, but check out "Google SketchUp 7" it is a free drawing tool available for doing various drawing tasks. They also have an advanced version that can be bought. I have the free version, don't know much about the other, might be worth taking a look however. Best regards, Allan

Microsoft Visio is designed to do those type of details and copy right into word or Power Point.

But I think it's pretty spendy... If somebody else is paying a good choice.
