How exactly does an AWS student chapter function?

What are the types of transactions will the student chapter be making? will it mostly be donation reciepts?

Ive managed to get a few classmates into it, but find myself lacking alot of information to share with them.

The student chapter at my school operated like another school club. After doing the neccessary paperwork  we were provided a small yearly budget by the school, in exchange we had to do so many hours of community service.

Besides that the function of the student chapter was pretty limited to meetings, occasional fabrication projects and the odd field trip
