Good idea on storing your welding rod, easy access to whichever one you want....unlike mine rolling around on the floor in the cab. Nice mudhole you got going there!

A lotta guys up here in Alberta are running Aluma Reels ( or wishing they had) and there's not too many complaints. I was using the Shell-Ryn reels (Brooks,AB) and they were OK at first but soon found they had quite a few flaws, while rolling up your cables or even when driving and they would unroll on ya. Not fun when that happens on the highway. You working lots?

We do sand and gravel, so that has been pretty good this year, but it seems to be slowing down.
I don't take in any outside work.
