I can't imagine the horror the mother went through (knowing it was her fault) until she learned that the baby was OK.

When I saw it the first time I just knew that the baby was going to be very badly hurt. The news person made a disclaimer that it was graphic but I didn't think the baby was going to die of they probably wouldn't have showed it...however they did show the 16 year boy in Chicago being killed in a gang fight last week. He wasn't a gang member just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Glad this story ended well.

The story includes the quote: "Police said the woman did nothing wrong".....ummmm.....Really?!?!?!?!?

Couldn't believe that either. Wonder what their definition of "wrong" is.
Maybe it was the babies fault.

No wonder the crime rate is so low in Australia if the mom did nothing wrong.
