I have the Clear, Rose and Transitions. I would recomend the Transitions. Next choice is the Rose color All of mine are Bi-focals as well

thanks cactus,  i like the transitions but saw some other welders with the rose color.  didnt know if it was easier to see with the rose color when welding.  i will probably go with the transitions.

You really cant tell they are Rose color while wearing them. But you can DAMN SURE tell the difference in the transitions

Rose colored from Tom Waters are da**ed sure rose colored. They have a starker red contrast than any brand I have ever worn.

So, what's the deal with rose color? Easier to see the puddle, or just nice to look through?

some people prefer to see the world through rose-tinted glasses....  It makes them think their welds are better

Back in the day welding filters were green, made of glass and no metallic coatings. Rose tinted glasses were better at distinguishing the slag from metal when running P5.
And besides, you looked really cool in them when hanging out in the bar! Chicks flocked to us pipe welders back then, but only if you had octagon rose tinted glasses...
