If I were you, I would purchase EN 13480 1-6, or atleast get section 4 and 5. EN 13480 is related to industrial pipework.
You should also get EN 1011-1, EN 1011-2 and 15614-1, the 1011 1-2 will in particular catch your interest I think.
Keep in mind that the EN standards is not made as easy as ASME, we often needs to look at 15+ standards for a particular job.
As an example, all the EN NDT methods has its own standard, both for application and for criterias (LOOL) and on top of that there is a few "general rules" standards for NDT :)

EDIT: Almost forgot: EN 15607 describes several ways to qualify a procedure, look at table 2.
EN 13480, EN 12952 which is the standards for industrial piping and fabrication of boilers might not accept qualifications based on "previous welding experience"
I dont know how much hair you have left, but you will for sure lose some if you try to fully understand the EN philosophy :)
