Hey gentlemen I finally received my Variforce certification. It was the most ignorant test I have ever taken. You get to read the test that the inspector will read to you right after you have read it. Then give him the answers you just read on the little sheet you just gave back to him. What the H E double hockey sticks does that prove. MAN!! OH!! This test also certifies you to let 4 others to work under you cert. So I guess your responsible for their a$$es to. Oh well I ought to be thankful that I'm working and have the opertunity to be so blessed. Still seems kinda stupid to me.

You know I've been taking that test for the last 6 - 8 years, and the one that I take the questions haven't changed.  Think that it took me an hour the first time that I've taken it, now it takes about 5 minutes.  BTW we get to take it on the computer.

All it means if you pass the test, you can work. You don't pass, you don't work.
It may be a CS test, but it is DOT rules. And you would be surprised how many fail.
Some companies only give you one shot at the test with no assistance. Others, well not so much.
I have to take the test to oversee blinding of tanks connected to a DOTOPS regulated pipeline for cleaning. I have to take the whole blooming test to pass the tank part.
But hey, they pay me above minimum wage and I am on the payroll when I take the test. I will take that test every day if i need to stay on the payroll.

Just took my third one for this year and whats really stupid is each employer can block each other from your results because they paid for the test.
